MU268 Responds to Metal Recycling Building Fire

DUNDALK, MD, January 19, 2025, Marine Emergency Team 26 responded to a multi-alarm fire at the Owl Metal, Metal recycling facility. MU268 along with Baltimore City Fireboats assisted with water supply to the location. MU268 had to break ice on the river to make it to the location.


DYK: MET 26 vessels do not have climate control, so our responders must ensure they have the proper personal protective equipment to keep them warm and safe.
