MET 26 Assist Windsurfer

BACK RIVER, MD, Tuesday, May 13, 2025: On Tuesday evening, Marine Emergency Team 26, along with other Baltimore County Fire units, responded to a reported windsurfer in distress near the Essex Sky Park shoreline. MU 268 arrived and observed one male windsurfer whose surfboard had sustained damage and was having trouble returning to shore. MU268 assisted the subject back to safe harbor. Marine Unit 217 (MET 21) was on scene to assist if needed.
