EDGEMERE, MD, January 26, 2025, on the morning of January 26, MET 26 members were able to take some time and took advantage of the ice on the bay. They practiced ice rescue techniques that often get overlooked throughout the year, mainly becuase the ice on the rivers have been very little over the last several years. While cleaning up from the training, MET 26 members sprung into action after learning there were several deer stuck out on the ice in the middle of Back River. With the assistance of MET 21, all three deer were safety assisted to land.
